An Announcement.
To our friends and family,
We hope this letter finds you doing well.
We have an announcement we want to share with you. After much discussion we have made the difficult decision to end our time as A Minor Bird. We understand there are probably many questions as to why this is happening; feelings of disappointment and hurt as well. Rest assured, that while this has been a very special part of our lives for the past 3 years, we are still putting our relationships first: between ourselves and with you. We are still very good friends, a bond that is forged deeper than any musical undertaking can create.
There were a litany of reasons that this decision was made. We respectfully would like to not dwell on that.
The truth that we can readily grasp today, is how thankful we are for our brotherhood, for this opportunity to have done what we loved for 3 years, and all the support you have shouldered us with since the beginning. Thank you. All your words of encouragement, all the long drives made to shows, all your prayers and friendships have made us the men we are today.
While this sounds like the tragic end to a story, believe with us that this is just a beginning. A chance for God to do something we wouldn’t expect. Our hope is in a God who molds us according to His purpose…for His and our ultimate good together.
We will be releasing music we had been working on soon and giving it away as a gift. It’s very little to repay the love and support you’ve given over the years, but it’s a start. Thank you again.
